wahh I just cleared shiki's route.
and it's kinda weird it was zero who appeared before the dance party while in your case, it was kaname.

I've never had kaname appeared in all my games before o___O it's always zero *sob* oh well, but I think kaname appeared once when I was playing zero's route.
