While surfing the net I stumbled upon a forum talking about this new comedy-shoujo anime series which casts the seiyuus Seki Tomokazu and Midorikawa Hikaru. Right then and there I decided to check it out without even reading a synopsis of the series. Just having those seiyuus on the cast >< kyaa!!! Since AXN scrapped all anime shows with subtitles I have been forced to look around other channels to watch anime. I found QTV11 and HERO TV which shows anime in a tagalog-dubbed form. Well I've got nothing against these shows being dubbed in tagalog.... okay maybe I do but that issue is in the bottom of my complain pile.

I just had a "Scrapped Princess" marathon, finishing all 24 episodes in one day. The last time I did that was when I was watching "Rahxephon" (coincidentally they have the same animation studio). I almost did the same with "Shakugan no Shana" but I watched the last one after 11 eps (because I was bored with the story).

I've been having problems with my internet connection lately that I wasn't able to download the latest chapters of Naruto manga and when I looked today, the scanlation groups already released up to chapter 309!

While snooping around google for an animated gif creator software, I stumbled upon this site which was an interactive South Park-like character creator. I had lots of fun doing it that I slept at 3am (err.. well I do sleep at dawn anyways) so here are some I made as icons.

Somehow my curiosity killed (not me) my wallet. I just went to National Bookstore to buy a novel and when I lined up at the cash register I spotted this anime magazine called "Otakuzine" (which was as big as K-zone) and was worth php85. The front page featured reviews of Blood+, To Heart2, Kyou Kara Maou that got me so interested that I bought one ( Read more... )
