EDIT: Yeah, I know it's a Monday. I work like unbelievably crazy on weekends. My days off are Monday and Tuesday.

We normally go to the beach on Saturdays, but assuming the party does happen I would make some sort of request for us coming home earlier so we could attend said party (assuming it is in the evening).
