Hello all. I've been in Copenhagen since August 27th... I'm studying "medical practice and policy" here for the semester. I love being back in Europe!

I am going to be in London this weekend with Joe. It's been too long since we were in the same time zone/country/county/city/building/room together. I'm pleased to be going, to say the least.

Cincinanti, OH is definitely not what I expected. It has many more ghetto areas than you'd think a city in Ohio would have. But I guess a city is a city is a city, no matter what state that city is in. It does have a few nice areas- Hyde Park, for example. Full of upper middle-class whites. Funny thing happened to me a couple days ago. I asked my mother at the dinner table if she'd picked up some pads for me (as I'd asked her to do three days before). She said oops, that she'd forgotten. I wasn't too happy, being in desperate need of one at that point. My brother said "Oooh Kaitlin has PMS! So cranky!" I turned in my 14 page evolution term paper tonight. It was the most involved piece of writing that I've ever done-- so many hours spent researching my topic, reading primary literature, writing annotated bibliographies, outlines, and then the paper itself. It's funny how people are so blind to their own faults. We were at WHOA house tonight, eating brownies with all the ex-Goodhue people, after watching the One Acts (three plays that were fairly well done). Today is such a blissfully beautiful day-- weather is gorgeous. :)

I went to Puppy Love for the first time this year, and it was as fun as ever. I was in charge of a baby 4-month-old puppy named Barney. Sooo cute!

Need to start on hw. Going to the Angel/Devil party tonight, which is just downstairs. Hope it will be fun.
