I was inspired by the song submissions for Fei and couldn't help doing the unimaginable crime of drawing Fei again when I haven't the skills to make it look like his beautiful self (gosh, I hate drawing with a mouse). It's very beautiful and I know very well how much effort (and how much the eyes hurt) is needed to draw with the mouse since I still do it by myself (even if I got a tablet for my birthday it is still packaged in his box!)
I prefer the black and white version though, maybe because I usually prefer B/W works ^__-

I don't understand why you're still using your mouse when you have a tablet *mugs your tablet*. It is so damn painful T_T (but better than drawing on paper having no undo button XDDD). I really need to come up with a lame excuse to buy a new tablet for work (duh) XDDD My old tablet is almost as old as I am (and it hasn't produced any children - how lame!).

Glad you like the B/W works. It's all I can do XDD

I'm totally in awe....ok I knew you had talent to draw since I saw your other works (though you still refuse to show me your old paintings you once talked about XD *gets bricked*), but you have also a good hand for atmosphere. I'm not only loving his face, but the whole setting (even the greenish tone), and somehow the clothing matches him and his lonely face. So where is the blonde sheik when you need him huh?
btw did you say with a mouse??? *gives extra bee* even if its only his face, I personally can't even draw a straight line with a mouse.......it's the reason why I plan to treat myself with a wacom next month....only for colouring purposes though lol, to not be so very restricted with my graphic works.....and I can't possibly learn colouring with a mouse.

Awww, you're so sweet. The only reason I haven't shown you my paintings is because I have none with me, they're all in NZ (school paint, school property T_T). But one of these days I'm going to pick up a brush again, and maybe do a little oil on canvas just to show you how much I suck at it *LOL*

Yeah, a mouse. I want to get a new tablet too. I'm thinking if I should get just the Bamboo or pay more for Intuos. I have one huge old Intuos that is like 10 years old and doesn't work anymore. To buy anything less would be a downgrade but to spend that much when I don't use it a lot is not wise *yanks hair*. arghhhhhh help me make a decision!!

Well the difficult thing about it is that I have used intuos and love it but I haven't used Bamboo which is both tiny and doesn't map the screen 1:1. I'm sure Bamboo works just fine for those who haven't tried Intuos and already gotten used to its precision. For practical reasons I should just buy bamboo because I'm not making money off it. But I wonder if this is going to feel like being downgraded from Hilton to motel 6 which will be so painful that I would rather spend the extra money so I won't have to suffer so much. I guess I need someone who has used both... should ask Angel, eh?

i love the black and white version, and i really think that you have enough drawing skills, to make something as pretty as this. i've tried once and never again haha. it looked horribe ;D

*LOL* I used to draw every minute of the day when I was in school. My text books were so full of longhair bishies I drew you can flip through it and make animation XDDD (My teacher would tell others to stop talking in class, to me she often yelled "Faye! STOP DRAWING!" XDD) But that was 10 years ago. These days I feel so handicapped T_T.
