I think you came up with a good story (though not exactly nice for Mik) about Mik's scars (could have been more elaborated *slaps pervy self*). What I didn't await was the way you presented it to us or let Fei Long hear about it....from Alexei. I guess there was hardly another way since Mik and Fei aren't really on smalltalk terms with each other at the moment and Mik surely banned this night from his conscious mind (so making him reminiscense about it is out of question). I'd like to think Fei taking revenge for Mik but you would have to alter the original story for it *sigh*....too bad. But the way Fei Long looked at him told him it would make a difference if he did. And he did owe it to Mikhail to make a difference. This I don't exactly understand. What are you implying? You surely can't mean pity. Well maybe bringing Fei to take a step into Mik's direction and admitting something is the most important, regardless the catalyst

I'm glad Mik's back story didn't seem out of place. And I've always meant for Alexei to be the couple's (unusual) cupid XD Alexei plays a very important role in that perspective.

No his back story is fine so far. And honestly I wouldn't be able to come up with a better idea to wave it into the story at this point, so who am I to critizise? Perhaps not to avenge Mikhail or to feel pity for him I have to admit I could only think of pity when I read it. I mean when someone tells you something tragic it normally causes feelings like sympathy, mostly out of pity in humans.......and I thought this is so wrong. Fei should not pity Mik, or feel sorry for him. And I in Mik's shoes would flip if my brother told him about it and most likely would also be angry at Fei, just for knowing and maybe looking at him with other eyes (a matter of pride?). But then again this is Mik, he possesses no pride when it comes to Fei, so more probably he will just shrug it off and surely not let it get between Fei and himself

No, it's not pity. You feel pity when you see someone you don't love have a misfortune. When someone you love gets hurt you don't feel pity, you feel pain, you feel the need to protect and make that pain go away, not to sympathize. What Yoh felt for Fei was pity, because he did nothing about it other than feeling bad (and that pisses me off in the same way you are describing). When you love someone their pain becomes yours and naturally we all try to do something it. I think it is a very hard thing to explain though if you have never fallen in love with anyone yet. XD
But then again this is Mik, he possesses no pride when it comes to Fei, so more probably he will just shrug it off and surely not let it get between Fei and himself. On the contrary, it is because he has so much pride and confidence that he isn't going to feel anything other than feeling sorry that Fei didn't ask
