I think I should explain myself a little about the situation with Cruel Intentions. I’ve decided to end ‘Revelation’ as it is in Chapter 14 but continue the story, as requested, in a new arc that will conclude CI as a trilogy. The point of Revelation that follows NT plotline from start to finish was to have all the characters come clean with with

Are u kidding! The angst was awesome. I cried my heart out. I was happily sad *I know...oxymoron, right?*. But Fei is finally, finally accepting and exposing his L.O.V.E for Mikhail. I hope he starts fighting for Mikhail's affection in the future. If he does, please make him work, make him work hard. Drap it out as long as you want to. I know Mikhail (and I *wink*) will throughly enjoy it. What a sight to look forward to, right? *squeal*

I came back because I had forgotten to ask you if the title "retribution" is used with the meaning of punishment, pain or with the other one of reward, payoff.
This should already give me an idea if this is going to be more or less purely angst....XD

I used this word for the title because of it's many meanings. So to answer you correctly, there will be punishment, revenge, and the restoration of hope. And I'm not just talking about Fei here, but everyone in it from Asami, Aki, Yoh, Yan, Toh, Mikhail, Alexei and even Feodora and daddy will all have it coming. It's payback time and the last showdown. I hope to be able to strip all those characters bare with this arc. But I do have a reward for Fei at the end tragic or not ^_^

this 1st chapter was just amazing. i must have kept my breath a coupla' times while reading it!

we share the feeling that Fei Long'd try to win over his misery by undergoing hard and tough training every morning ^^ (i had this in mind too for the continuation of my stuff, which'll happen next millenium XD) - it is just so in chara with Fei Long! - and i love Ma sifu, his wisdom and his attitude, clear as crystal, cutting as the best blade ^^. the whole Wing Chun context was a delight for me

If I am not wrong Fei Long here -
- there was something he wanted from Alexei, no matter the cost. “I’ll sleep with you if you help me get it back.” -

was offering to sleep with Alexei to have the penthouse back (it) nor Mikhail (him).
I cannot believe he can think to have back Mikhail sleeping with his brother (not even for making him jealous) but I hope Faye can clarify this ^__-

that's what I was thinking as well. I think Fei would not be so...bold to ask that big a favor/exchange from Alexei. Given that Alexei knows everything that happened with Mik and Fei that is.

i think Fei Long sensed the wave of desire emanating from Alexei. and as his own feelings are numbed by the pain of losing Mik, his pride set down by the hopelessness, and he just can't give a damn because he feels he hasn't much left to lose - with a killer headache to top - he's come to the point that he'd do anything to get Mik back, including trade his ass for some bro-to-bro manipulation by Alexei. though, as you perfectly said, if the fact were known to Mik it wouldn't be in his favor for winning him back, so probably this would have to be a secret only known by Alexei as a part of their deal..
