I really loved the story and am sorry to learn about Alex. I didn't know her and don't think I did read her story. I have anyway a bad memory, and because I read so much stories, it's difficult to remember all of them and who wrote what. I would have been happy to know her but unfortunately didn't. Thank you for stopping by to let me know you liked the story. Alex only shared her works with a few people even though she wrote quite a lot. While she was always insecure about her writings and has deleted all of them, I managed to save some from the Fei fanbook we compiled a while ago. I hope so. It's pretty much Alex's view of Yoh. And I wrote this knowing how much she loved these scenes - with Yoh standing in front of Fei's room while he was with someone else (i.e. Aki), with Yoh having a problem with Aki sleeping in Fei's room, etc. I would have missed a lot of details if I hadn't been for her. I wish I had written this sooner. *hugs*

Yep, Yoh's story is hidden in these little details, but once you notice them, they tell a great deal about him indeed - as demonstrated in his scene with Asami, where Asami guesses so much just from Yoh's silence. Yoh's jealous temper tantrum over Akihito sleeping in Fei's room is rather funny, until Akihito has to hit right on the nerve with his "Why don't you take my place if it bothers you so much!?"...

wow, that really was a fantastic story. You did a very good job characterizing Yoh and his special relationship with Fei Long. Quite melancholic and a little bit sad.
I am very sorry for your loss. I dont know Alex but I cannot imagine how she could possibly not be pleased with your story.

this is beautifully written and i really enjoyed the dynamic between yoh and fei. what a touching way to honor alex's memory. i had no idea what happened. i've been inactive the last several months, only popping in the YA comm every few weeks or so. i was stunned when i read your note up top.
