Wow, Faye. Just... wow.

This, by far and away, is your best fic. Yeah, even better than the CI universe - and considering how much I love that universe and MishaFei, that's really saying something.

The way you write Yoh is just breathtaking. I feel that you understand him really well, you get him. Every scene was perfect, and he was kept completely in character from beginning to end.

His interaction with Fei Long was very precise. I like when he's pissed - somehow that's incredibly sexy.

And I especially like that you pointed out how Yoh is Fei Long's subordinate by choice. I've always seen him as a man on equal ground with Asami, Fei, and Mikhail. That even though he's a subordinate for two men, he is nobody's servant.

I also really enjoyed that you made Fei smoke cigarettes. Cos I've always wanted to see that (he looks like the cig type to me) and every fic I read has him smoking an opium pipe. Thing is, I don't even know for certain if he does smoke opium. Cos the pipe he uses looks like a kiseru to me. And I guess I'm

Paradise Day 1 was really good. My favorite scene was this paragraph :

"That uncertain lifestyle was probably what made being with Mikhail so incredible. Not only was he never afraid to try new things, Mikhail actually enjoys trying out everything at least once, whether or not it was out of character for him to do so. On the contrary, what was in character for him was that nothing was ever out of character for Mikhail Arbatov. The man certainly knew how to live, and he had been given the privilege to live extraordinarily. Mikhail was amazing in that sense and being with him was quite addictive, even without the exhilaration of having sex with a man who performs so flawlessly."

Because not only was that beautifully phrased, but you were actually describing my partner. Which made me feel very weird and very happy at the same time. Haha.

And also, this line : "Mikhail found it appropriate to take care of him in every little details without ever letting him notice he was being taken care of."I swear, Faye, you wrote Mikhail in this fic

ROFL! I figured it'd be you :D I mean, who else would dare tell Faye that her one YohxFei fic is her best one :P ? Just so you know, she's freaking out over that compliment ;) But don't worry; she'll survive :) And once she gets over the shock, she'll notice all the stuff you wrote about her other MikxFei fics, and she'll be happy again :D

LOL the writer in me is really flattered. The MxF fan in me , however, is about to strangle the writer in me for ever contributing to the YxF side. But I shall make an exception for this because this would make Alex proud (and happy). (Plus I like jealous and possessive Mikhail *hugs him*)

Oh no. I thought they would be together. But it's just a one-time matter.. Anyway, as other readers pointed out, Yoh is so in character. I've always loved him with Fei, and how loyal he is. Other than the fact that he's hired by Asami, he still protected Fei nonetheless :)

Thanks for the Yoh/Fei fic.. and I'm really sorry to hear about your friend (I know it's been 5 years now, but the loss of anyone close has never been easy). I hope she's happy where she is now.
