Beautiful... I love your style so much! I can say honestly that I've never taken Mik&Fei pairing seriously till the day I've met Russian translation of CI first arc. And that was it. I'm in love! ) It's at least the third my CI Triathlon I've finished today, and it's so great to see that wonderful continuation. Thank you so much!

And by the way, does anyone translate the 2'nd and 3'rd arcs in Russian? It's a real waste that nothing seems to happen that way since 2011... I'm starting to feel some kind of tickling in my fingertips about doing it myself if nobody else does ^^"

This is such an unforgivably late reply but I have personal rules on replying every comment so here I am from hiatus to thank you very much for taking your time to let me know you've enjoyed the story. And I believe I'd given permission to translate the rest to someone in Russian but it was probably not finished or haven't started. The offer is open if anyone wants to translate ^_^ It's a lot of commitment for an under appreciated couple though ^^! ... But then again, Mikhail is coming back to the manga ^_-

I'm in Mongolia right now for 3 weeks with limited internet so I may disappear until then. But tbh I have no idea who it was that asked me about translation. It's been so long and she never contacted me back. I have messages in 1000s and I'm afraid I won't be able to find it. I'd say don't worry and just go ahead if you'd be so kind. Once something is posted I ask only for a link to it and once the link is on my lj, the translation right is solely yours until you want to drop. ^_^

Hi there! To be totally honest, I've started right from this latest chapter, I just had to make sure there was some hope at the end before starting the journey (the thing is -I'm really bad at handling angst and tragedy in fanfiction)
And what can I say... this promises both angst and tragedy, more than I can swallow. But much more than that at the same time, so hope, there is, and despair, too. So to that heart of mine that keeps me breathing, brace yourself, I'm signing up for this story.
All that to say, you're probably going to be the death of me, but I will die of MikhaFei, so I don't mind. (this is going to be such a long ride, though? With how slow I am at reading english yet can't bring myself to reading MikhaFei in a more comfy language, and the fact that real life schedule isn't being nice to me)
Aaaanyway~ just wanted to thank you for bringing so much to this otherwise really tiny fandom. These two deserve so much more love T^T

Haha, it's a long story but the thing is that I started reading Viewfinder about three years ago. The only character that had caught my attention was Fei but then I wasn't into reading fanfiction.
Then recently I suddenly remembered how hot he is and that I kind of shipped him with Mikhail (and Asami, but Asami pisses me tbh), so I went searching for fanfiction, stumbled upon your LJ, read a few oneshots of yours, then this one chapter and it just screamed of tragedy to me.
The truth is, I really don't mind ending spoilers, most of the time. I even make a point of reading the ending first before starting any long work. What's most interesting for me is reading how they got there, after all.
Aaaa and I must tell you that I've just finished reading Cruel Intentions and am about to start Revelation (damn that was addictive). And I must say you are indeed a master of angst XDD (and yeah, I may be a masochist for most of my favorite stories are full of angst and broken people...)

Ha ha. I never understood those who read the ending first. For me the thrill of not knowing is just too great to pass it all up. But a part of what I love when writing this is the surprise (and the tomatoes) of my readers. So I admit to regretting the fact that you won't be screaming or threaten to kill me over Alexei LOL But I do hope you will still enjoy the events enough. Well, at least you've finished the first marathon! I hope the rest does not disappoint.

Master of angst. Queen of tragedy. Those are kind of my reputation, sorry ^^!

It has been so many years, but Mik x Fei will forever be one of my favorite ships. This story is beautiful! You made me cry again TT TT. The trilogy is the best fanfic I have ever read up until now. And believe me, I have read a lot ;)

This kind of writings is the reason I prefer reading than watching. So many details, inner feelings and views are lost in movies and the likes.

I hope you will keep writing stories of Mik and Fei. Thank you for all the goodies 😁

Anyway, I'm reading halfway and decided to leave a short comment first, for now.

These lines here are brilliant, I tell you! (Not that the rest are not, mind you ^^)

but there was a certain excitement found only in first discoveries you usually don’t get twice. Well, Mikhail was getting it twice, while Fei Long was the one left with the anxiety whether this new Mikhail would live up to the old one. So far he had, but two years was a long time, and sex had only been a small part compared to what they’d shared.

I too share the very same worry as Fei. Well, they do have a lot to catch up with. :) and the scene where Fei expected hundreds of missed calls, just to receive none, was nonetheless precious!

Mik remembered the log home!! Well, why wouldn't he? When I as a reader still remember vividly every scene from it, when Mik cooked for them, and made love to Fei. Every sinvle one of them
