It's been a few months since I last posted. I guess I could have waited until October and then it would have been a full year! I've happily been dating a young man named Michael for the past 6 months. I'm turning 22 this month. I graduate this December. I'm applying to about 8 graduate schools this year. I went to the ENT today for my post-op appointment. He said everything was looking great. Unfortunately I have a cold now, so I'm sneezing quite a lot and have watery eyes and a runny nose. This has been the best birthday ever!!! Yes, I am on pain medicines and my throat doesn't feel so great, but Benjamin was just wonderful to me. He gave me a soft and silly Eeyore stuffed animal! Well, my tonsils are out!!! The IV hurt a little going in, but I survived that! :) It was so funny when I was in the operating room because the doctor looked down at me and said, "we will see you when you wake up." Well I've been in Atlanta the past two days. My parents surprised me with an overnight trip to see "Corilanius" Saturday night which is one of Shakespeare's lesser known plays. So my tonsil removal has been bumped up a week. That means that the surgery is on the 21st which is the day before my birthday. So I will wake up in the hospital on my birthday.
