Well I'm back down to a size 8, just like before I went through that depression. I'm trying to find old clothes that I packed away, but I think I got rid of most of my old stuff. Mr Roommate got nothing but negative comments about his massive weight loss as well, its not just women.
I'm comfortable in whatever size that doesn't result in me needing to get an entire new wardrobe AND be more active at myself.
You are beautiful inside and out, period.

Perhaps it's time to find yourself a lovely clothing swap? When my weight shifts a lot, I get rid of everything except most favorite things that don't fit because it's better to acquire new things (even thrift store "new" and swapped "new") than to wear old stuff if things change again. It gives a feeling of progression rather than regression, I find.

You are so right about that. I am so desperately in need of new work clothes in particular. Do guys have this problem? I always hear women remarking about having a wardrobe of different sizes but guys never do. I can't imagine something like this would be gendered.

I believe that weight fluctuations and easy weight gain are partly tied to estrogen, so these are actually more frequently problematic for female-bodied people. Also, a lot of women tend to wear clothing that is tighter fitting, leaving less room for fluctuation.

Oh wow estrogen makes that much of a difference??? I thought maybe if anything it was social pressures on women to constantly be dieting.
