wow, it's really weird to think about what my life was like this time last year. I was still going out with remi and stuff... So much crap can happen in a year. Time. Time is so unreal. time is meaningless, quantum physics proves it. the only reason why it exists is because we made it. different cultures idea of time varies from one to the next. for example, the american language has past, present, and future tense. french has those as well as another that doesn't exist in our language.

what is the other one called that's in french? and what does it represent? And yes, i definitely know, time is so irrelevant because all over the world it's different (time zones) and it really doesn't make sense to me why they did that.

passé composé. it sort of is, to be. it's hard to explain, but the closest thing we have to it is perfect tense (past/present/future perfect).

and well, with different time zones. i guess everyone could be in the same one, we'd just have to remember which country is where, because if a country says it's 12 am for them, and it's 12 pm for us, we have a better understanding of where they are on the map as well as whether or not it's gotten dark for them.

I can tell you about some other music....
Right now I've been listening to a lot of Led Zeppelin (and liking them a lot)... The Mars Volta are also very good. They only have one album (which is unbelievably good) but they're comming out with a new one in March.
I can direct you to a lot of other good music but I don't want to bury you, you know. What different kind of music do you want to explore anyway?

PS: I know, I know, the You, Me, & Iowa T-shirt is long overdue. But I promise, you will not be forgotten..

oh yeah, definitely led zeppelin, they're like a plauge here on vashon (in a good way), i'll try to dl some Mars Volta, you always talk about them in your journal, so i'm sure theyre good. I'm not sure exactly what kinds of music... any i suppose, except screechy annoying types.
PS: I was going to ask you about the t shirt but i was scared you'd be like what are you talking about. And also I have changed my mind and think i want a brown one instead. Thanks.
