I've decided to keep this going because I feel like I've lost touch with some of y'all and don't want that to happen. I'm still going to be more of a lurker, but... I miss hearing from y'all so call or e-mail. Have to start preparing for the creature's birthday party so I'll put something more substantive up later. I've missed you! Yeah, I know I could call, but you know how I am about that. Will you be in NY for the holidays? I have a whopping 10 days off--I'll be in Baltimore from the 22nd thru the 26th, but after that, if you're around...

Love the rat icon! Wouldn't it make a great t-shirt? Unfortunately our time in NYC won't overlap, but anytime you want to come to beantown after the new year... I'll give you a call in the next few days.

Ah, our brains think as one. I've wanted to put this on a shirt for a while now...just have to get ahold of a certain ware that will allow me to blow up the image to a printable size. It's from an out-of-print pulp novel from the '50s called The Coming of the Rats. I'm keeping my eye out for that too. ;-)

Just let me know when's a good time. I know I get MLK day off, as well as Presidents' Day; maybe a long weekend?
