Quick update

Apr 27, 2006 13:04

Yes, so, I've fallen off the face of the planet. Or at least, off the face of the internet, which tends to be the same thing for me. Two weeks without updating, OMG! ^_ ( Read more... )

Oh! It's you! *pounce-tackles you* You're okay... We were all wondering where you wandered off to. :)

And no... I kind of... took a vacation on the 'Survivor' fic. *sheepish grin* You weren't here anyway so I used the time to write lots and lots of other fics. LOL. I wrote... let me see... one part of ES, plus started the next part, plus two fluffy ficlets, one semi-angsty birthdayficlet, and finished up that NC-17 fic 'cause I'm back on my computer again! LOL. I've been busy. *g*

I think I have an idea of what to do for the next part of 'Survivor' though... Maybe I'll be able to write it tonight.

Emily :)

Oh! It's me! *squdgles you* I was wondering if I'd been missed, so it's good to know you guys noticed.

There's been more parts of your stories up? I haven't checked my flist in forever, bad me. Must go look those up when I have a moment. Between hubby and college and my sudden rush of interest in Idol, I've been neglecting LJ a bit. Anyhoo, I'll look forward to that next Survivor bit.

Of course we noticed you were gone! If one person leaves our fandom, it leaves a huge gaping hole, 'cause there's so few of us out there. LOL. Which is kind of sad when you think about it, but also true. :)

Didn't get to work on the 'Survivor' fic last night 'cause I got distracted by the tv. *sheepish grin* Hopefully tonight, or if not, Saturday, 'cause I'm working outside and I'll have time to write during downtimes if I bring my notebook with me. :)

And yes, I've been reallyreally busy writing fic and everybody's probably sick to death of me but I don't care 'cause I'm not stopping until the entire community is flowing with Ryan and Colin love! *looks around* I didn't say that out loud. *g*

Emily :)

Ah, Clay Aiken... *smirks* I rather like him, but no, that's not where the clay in my name comes from. Invisible is probably my favorite song of his, but he hasn't done anything lately, has he?

Yes, Clay Aiken. He's just so squee inducing. For me, anyway, because I tend toward squeeage that way. Invisible is good, and I like Solitaire too and, you know, all the others. I think he's got a new album coming out this year, but I'm not sure. Hey, I must not be an obsessive groupie; a true Claymate would know that stuff. Yay! *g*

Glad to see you're alive and squeeing! :)

Hee, thanks! And it's a safe bet that if I ever drop off the radar, it's because I'm off squeeing over some new thing. *g*

Great to see you around here again. I've been wondering where you'd gone.

Been reading some more of your fanfic again. Those Scion ones, Moon, Perspicacity and things. I think. Not too sure, I suck at remembering titles. I loved them, though, so I don't care what you called them.

Yay on all your A's!

I also downloaded his songs and although I do this with tons of music, this is the only time I've felt guilty about it. Because it was like stealing from Clay.
Heh. I'm blissfully ignorant about all things American Idol (and most things Idols, the Dutch version) except Kelly Clarkson and the things I picked up from TWoP, so I don't really know what you're talking about. But about the stealing, just think of it as stealing from the evil record company which is exploiting poor Clay. Does that make you feel better about it?

Aw, thanks for the story love, glad you liked them. I've got another SG1 story floating around that should be out soon, actually; it's an old one but it's been tied up in a zine for a while and should be timed out by now. I just have to talk to the editor and get it released.

And yes, I do feel better about not paying the evil record company. *g* I should take that CD money and donate it to some children's education cause; that's what Clay would do. (It's like he's a religion all his own.)

Ooh, new old story! I think I still have some other stories to read, 'but one more is never a bad thing.

If you're a true Claytarian, you could donate to his a href="http://www.thebubelaikenfoundation.org/">very own charity.
