So last week, I had a wedding anniversary. Seven years we've been married, which sort of startles me, because it doesn't seem that long. And yeah, he's not perfect and clearly I am not either, but we're doing pretty good. My friend who said I got married too young (okay, I was 19, which I guess means she had a point) is divorced now. Yay! Congratulations! And as for marrying young, well yeah, it does often go bad. But when it works, it really works. Some of the happiest marriages I've known (well, as much as you can know someone else's marriage) have been people who married while still at uni. Best wishes for the next seven, and the next, and the next...

Hey congratulations! I'm sure you're both working to keep it going. I've been married 33 years and I still have people who wonder why I married him! I'm sure he wonders why he married me sometimes as well. But it works for us. No there isn't a magical success point. But there is a magical phrase, it's being considerate of each other, thinking of each other and working to give and take. Give and Take that's the phrase! Again Congratulations on your 7 years and maybe you can be the one giving Congrats! to someone in your 33rd year

Congrats!

I have no idea about marriage and how to make it last. My parents married fairly young and are still going quite nicely, but I have no idea why they can make it work when others can't. But I'm not worrying about that too much.
