On the road again

Tomorrow morning (very early) hubby and I will be throwing the kids in the car and heading for points north. Specifically, points in Ohio, where hubby's family lives. Oh yes, driving, and it was hideous. But we made it in two days and now here I sit in my in-laws living room, marinating in the cigarette smoke. So glad we hurried. (Then again, being here beats being in some crapulent hotel room.)

If you're bringing your laptop anyway, can't you stock up on fic for a bit? There must be enough about to keep you reading for years.

Thanks for the good wishes! So far we're doing all right. And the thing with the laptop is that it's hubby's laptop, not mine. He knows I read slash, but he's not exactly approving. I could still access it, but it's more about having quiet time to read than it is about having access. I suppose I'll just have to wait and hope lots of fantastic things are being written and will be there waiting for me.
