Why don't I have a "Stupid people must die" icon?

Okay, here's the thing. I'm in this online college, right, and I've been there for the past year and every single semester, every class has a group project. I know this. Everyone knows this. We've all done them before ( Read more... )

This is why I always hated group projects. I do *not* play well with others. Grrr.

Also, congrats on being so close to done!

I know, I always dread group project week. I've gathered a list of people who I can actually work with and I always request them, but this time got a totally different group. *bleh*

And thanks! I am looking forward to being done.

I know it looks like you are surrounded by morons. I have often felt that way myself. They are just average people who only seem moronic to us because of our intellectual superiority. The trick is to tolerate them as you would any lower life form without coming across as arrogant. I'm still working on that one.

This reminds me of the Dogbert approach to life. And you know, I really wouldn't have minded doing her part for her if she'd asked, or even waiting longer if she'd let me know she was going to be late, but with no information at all I couldn't rely on her. I think it's the whiny sense of entitlement that grates, really.

(And it's you I got the arrogance from, you know. It's hereditary.)

Why is all the rum gone?

It amuses me that she's sending the correspondence to the instructor; she really doesn't realize she was in the wrong (a mistake that the teacher won't make, I'm sure).

Oh, I'm not so much worried about the instructor thinking she's right--it's more that the instructor will become annoyed with all the crap in his inbox and perhaps not grade as kindly. He's mercurial like that.

Ah, well. At least the group week is over and we can all go back to our own stuff.
