Yeah, these two are always surprising me. My older one will turn 8 in a couple months and wow, she's picking things up fast. I keep catching myself assuming she won't understand something, she's too young, when she's actually getting more than I think.

I find it a little scary, actually, how a child will say anything on his or her mind without thought to the consequences. The honesty is refreshing, but they can really hurt people and not even realize it.

They're honest, that's for sure. My older one caught me picking something up the other day and told me I had a big butt. Which, thanks a lot, kid. *g*

Hee! One always wonders where they're picking these things up. And I'm a little cautious around her lately, wondering how much of the whole divorce thing she gets. So far I've explained that her father and I will have different houses and she will get to see both of us; I'm not sure if she could get something more advanced than that.

Ahhh, Pinky and the Brain. I can still recite the theme song word for word, sadly. Still, it was an awesome show.
