So I've noticed the uproar in LJ land over the past week or so (since it would be very hard to miss it) but I didn't take any of the precautions like getting a greatestjournal or backing up my stuff. Last night we had a huge storm, which seems par for the course this season. We've already had a few severe thunderstorms, a tornado (which is very rare for this area) and lots of high winds. So my oldest, who is six, has decided she is too old to keep calling me Mommy. She's switched to Mom as of yesterday, and seems determined to stick with it.

I think I am having some kind of reaction to that, but I have no idea what it is.

Okay, I am so tired of college at this point. It's my last quarter! I'm graduating in May and it seems like the closer I get to the end the more impatient I am. Plus this last set of classes seems to suck especially, which I guess makes sense as they should get harder as I go. But still, suckage. I love Tuesdays. They have, for the longest time, been my favorite day of the week. Back when hubby was deployed to Afghanistan and the kidlets were much younger than they are now (baby was just two months old when he left) the Army gave all the spouses left behind one day of free childcare each week.
