YEAH!! I just checked the status of my pre-ordered HP6 from barnesandnoble.com and it says my book is "in Transit" which means it should arrive on saturday!! they said they try to guarentee its delivery that day and since they are using UPS and can basically say what day to actually deliver it I think we will get ours on saturday. the UPS building

So I called all the stores around me (remember I live in cow's country) and only 1 is going to have the new HP book at midnight. The rest aren't going to open at midnight. But they will have it Saturday AM. Even though the 1 store has a higher price, me and a few people are going there Friday at midnight to get it. And then Saturday I am going to a friend's aunt's house and we are going to sit on her dock (on the lake) and just read. How crazy are we?? I can't wait. HP and I will get some sun. I can't wait. Of course Joe thinks we have lost our minds. But what does he know!

I woulnd't worry. last time HP5 came out I just went to the barnes and noble and bought them all the next day-and they were still on sale for a few weeks.

I can't wait. tonight I think i am going to read my HP5 again...

Sounds like you're going to have a weekend full of reading! Nothing wrong with that at all. Sounds like fun! I have always wanted to get into the HP books. My dad reads them and LOVES them. I think it's the size that gets to me. How long does it usually take for you to read one completely?

Question for you... How do I make a photo small like the one you have as your avatar? I want one!

Tracie-i think it depends on how fast you read or how much you enjoy reading them. Ben and I read books 1-5 within about 2 weeks when #5 came out (We hadn't started reading til then!) And the day after he finished he proposed!

They are intimidating to look at the size but they are not a hard read and the stories are so engaging (At least to me) that I just want to keep reading and reading and reading so it doesn't take that long.

as for the aviator...I think the size of them here is 100x100 at most pixels but I forget exactly (i think it tells you on the pagew here you upload.) to get them that size I re-size the image using photoshop or other photo program. With my aviator I actualyl cropped it into a square first (got rid of the excess on the edges too) and then resized it.
