The majority of people do not like their job.
Of that majority, more than half settle for the money.

I'm almost 28 and am still praying everyday that GOD reveal his plan for my life.

Good Luck Miss K.

to be quite honest kel, the majority of ppl i know don't know what they want to do...but due to financial circumstances, or other reasons, they take a job for the time being.

i agree. if you have the luxury of doing what you love without worrying about finances, though, then go for it - i am jealous!

should study public policy--it's the best way to inject life into that 40%. 40% is crucial! sacrificing 10% for 90 or even 20 for 80 might make sense but not finding meaning 40% of your life so that you can be comfortable for the remaining 60% makes no sense to me, either.

I was in the same situation a few years ago, working in the corporate world and growing increasingly resentful of it. Eventually, certain events played out in my personal life and I decided to take up nursing. It was one of the best decisions I've made, and although I had to go back to school and start from scratch, it's been well worth the effort. Good luck to you, and I hope you find a career that moves you :)

Im glad to hear such a profound effect that God has in your life because your not chasing the dreams of this world, but looking for the passion that never ceases.
