For the first time ever, I went to a knitting expo/convention this weekend. It was fun! My cousin taught me how to crochet when we got back. It only took me two hours to learn the basic pattern of a gorgeous shawl. I have to go out and buy some yarn this week so I can start working on my new pattern. Hahah after I read the first sentence I was thinking about the Jessica Simpson shawl you were drooling over and thought it'd be cool for you to make your own now. Duh.

I've always wanted to learn.. my mom makes scarves ALL THE TIME. I think she has one in every color imaginable.

you should have your mom teach you! it's so relaxing just watching TV and knitting/crocheting.

actually, the jessica simpson shawl is pretty darn easy and it looks really good. so easy that i could probably teach someone else to make it.
