I sowwy, that sucks about the power. I wish I could give you some sort of advice but it's freaking high 70s outside so I only wish it was cold here. My f-i-l was a line man so just so you know they are working, I'm pretty sure some people from here (like my city) are there working on it, they are part of that group of states that help each other. I know it's shit being in the cold but try to stay warm, have you asked your neighbors about sharing the heat? Maybe letting y'all chill in the living room for awhile since it's so cold? Make sure to mention the whole baby thing too. Other than that I hope the rest of your day goes better.

Oh they're working alright. I keep hearing my fiance mention new states he's seen some of the trucks from. He saw one from Conneticut! I'm really grateful for the extra support around the nation...I just wish I had heat like my neighbors. :o) In fact, I just checked the PSO site and they had the numbers at 220,000 or so yesterday at 7:30PM and now the number is down to 185,000. That's some crazy progress!

I really probably should have. The really funny thing is that some coworkers went up there too. They said that the same guy took their order and jacked it up royally. Made me feel better about complaining. :oP

Going to a shelter might be a good idea for a day or two just to gather your sanity back.

I think so too. Waking up freezing once or twice isn't going to kill me, but if it does take 5-7 more days to get power, ia shelter for a night or two would be worth it.

Definitely, plus being pregnant your health is important.
