10 weeks to go!

Boy, it's been a long, long pregnancy. I know it's customary for women to be bored with pregnancy by this point, and totally normal to want this bebe out...but seriously...10 more weeks? For the last two months I've been living for each of my appointments. Thank goodness I'll be going every two weeks now. I think the frequent visits will keep ( Read more... )

Girl, you should have been my friend when I was pregnant with Gage. I LOATHED being pregnant, so yeah, it's totally reasonable to not like being pregnant!

:o) I feel like a bad momma for wanting this kiddo out and as soon as possible, but part of that is excitement too, I can't wait to hold him, nurse him, and rock him to sleep...but it's so good to know I'm not the only one who detested pregnancy.

You miss being pregnant when you're not - well, some of us do! I did, until I woke up and realized I would like to get my body back.

You have a cute pregnant belly. No stretch marks! Lucky!

I know I'm going to miss the kicking. It's a very nice reminder that he's okay in there. But I can't imagine missing much else. :o)

Oh I'm so vastly jealous of your lack of stretch marks. I lost about 10 lbs during the first 20 weeks of my pregnancy, and I still had tons of stretch marks by week 16. And I didn't get the linea nigra.

Basically you have the pregnant belly I wanted.

As for the waiting and wanting it to be over, I'm halfway with you. Part of me is tired of sharing my body, and the other part is scared to death about all the things I have yet to do.

Good luck developing the patience I haven't yet found! I'm at 36 weeks, and my doc just told me she expects me to go past 41. I seriously considered kicking her in the shin.

LOL, I think I would have! I don't want to induce and I know that first time pregnancies can go over 40 weeks, but I can still hope! I'm so tired of sharing my body too! I tried to explain that to my fiance, but he doesn't get it... I wish he could carry him around just for a week so he could understand all the limitations. Heck, just getting out of bed is a struggle sometimes.

Wow, that's definitely good to know. I'm just not really sure how serious this is supposed to be, and I can't tell what my OB thinks about the situation because I've mostly dealt with the nurses...some of them seem to be concerned, but the others seem annoyed that I'm in again for a high BP when nothing is showing up as bad. But your story makes me want to stay on top of it. Better safe than sorry, right?
