yesterday i spent just about 10 straight hours (with a few breaks in between) working on something for our wedding.  it came out awesome, but my index finger is in a lot of pain now.

today my mister asked me to marry him (on one knee, kneeling in the mud, no less) and i said yes!!!  i have the prettiest ring ever on, and i'm so, so very in love with him!  this has been the best day ever!

jeffie was being totally adorable last night.

jon, jeffie, and i were snuggling in bed.  jeffie was sitting on my chest, and i was petting him.  jon went to pick him up, and he spiked and gave jon a look like - back off, buddy, you'd better not take me away from my mom!

as soon as jon moved his hand, jeffie flopped down and snuggled in.

i'm *SO EXCITED!*  i'm having french macarons flown in fresh for me tomorrow!!!

it's kind of weird how this worked out.  there's a fabulous pastry place in portland that apparently makes some of the best french macarons made in all of the US.   i e-mailed the owner to ask how much it would be to have 2 dozen shipped to me...and the response was $ ( Read more... )
