Jeffie the hedgie will be 1 year old this Saturday!  i'm so excited for my little man to turn 1 -- hopefully i'll be able to find him a dump truck in time! (apparently hedgies really like playing on/in dump trucks -- who knew!)

i seem to have something in my lungs (bronchial infection, maybe?) which is causing me to have a hackling cough and difficulty breathing deeply.  i'm going to try to get a dr's appointment this morning to get this looked at, as i was up much of last night hacking and wheezing.

one of my favorite souvenirs from our trip is a brochure we got when we went through customs in mexico which says

"Mexico is where you are!"

...as if you wouldn't know that. really, now.

we made it here without much issue (very surprisingly). when we went to mexico 2 yrs. ago, there was a huge snowstorm, and we got screwed over, so i knew better this time and started calling the airline 2 days before the storm even hit (we were supposed to fly out early monday morning...and i *knew* our flight was going to be canceled long before ( Read more... )
