The Daw-n of a new age!
Well, I finally decided what Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) I am going to use. It's called Reaper. It does all the usual things a DAW does, but it doesn't cost like most DAWs. A new instrument...a cross between a ukelele and a dulcimer, called the Merlin.
A new interesting cross between a ukulele and a dulcimer made by Canadian guitar maker Godin. It's made by their subsidiary Seagull, and it's called the Merlin. Today was Eye Doctor day...
So, today, I went to the eye doctor for a lookover of my Macular Dengeration problem. Of course, this included having those horrible drops put in my eye to dilate them...and despite the fact that it was a cloudy, rainy day, I still had to put on my sunglass clip-ons and pull my baseball cap way down to prevent too much light from hurting my eyes ( Read more... ) -

Another reason to hate Ubuntu...and my own little rant.
I've had a number of concerns about Ubuntu for a while...I hadn't heard about *this* problem with it...it seems that Ubuntu is *Spying* on you, at the desktop level too!
