I'm 6 months pregnant with my first child, and it's a girl. Her name's going to be Erin Taylor, and she's due on Halloween. I thought that was super cool. I miss being able to do things I used to do, but it's worth it. This is exciting, but I'm really nervous because my life is in the process of making a permanent change.

Is having to deal with 1st and second degree burns on top of your new tattoo. Fucking A. I spent good money on this shit.

Oh well. I'm not welding for the next 2 weeks, I'm taking a vacation, and my artist will fix it for free. Gotta love having a (professional) tattoo artist as a friend. 

Bought a house. Got a job at Shape as a welder (fun shit). My husband does the same thing at the same company, just on 1st shift. It's good stuff. Working 7 days a week, 12 hours a day. its the first day of a new year, and it's the first day I can feel free. Grady has opened my eyes to how my ways are distructive. And yeah. Is my theme song at the moment. I just feel so amazing when I listen to it.

So, I didn't get the job that I wanted in the Army. But, I'm a helicopter armory, electrical, systems repairman. I'm also going Airborne! Hell yes, I'm gonna be jumping out of planes and get my wings.

I ship out on June 7th for basic combat training. That's 9 weeks and 4 days. Then I go to AIT (advanced individual training) for 30 weeks and 2 days. ( Read more... )
