neitzche_baby - that book I've just been drunkenly waffling at you about was 'Fingersmith' by Sarah Waters, and the one of hers that I'm currently reading is 'The Night Watch'. Did anyone see Dispatches on the BBC last night? Was undercover in China/Tibet. I was so distressed by some of it I couldn't sleep last night. I've decided today to avoid 'made in China' products where I can. I stayed away from lj for 24 hours. While everyone else was posting and saying that the strike idea was whiny and business is business and it will make no damn difference anyway, I was off in the real world having fine food and oh-so-much-better-than-fine sex.
