Today I was driving on my way to an appointment around noon when I saw this old Cadillac smash into the back of this huge, brand-new SUV. It was horrible, I had to swerve to avoid it. I just came back from a funeral for someone who was like my 2nd mother. Her death came so suddenly -- one day I was at her house, the next day she was on a ventilator with 90% of her brain power gone. It's like losing my mother all over again.
