Yesterday this beautiful city celebrated its liberation from the Spanish siege in 1574. Settling in is harder than I thought, but I'm getting the hang of it. Our house doesn't have a garden, (although the collection of fungae in the sink is of great horticultural interest) so I decided to vist the hortus botanicus, which is allmost next door.
