Ok, Poll:

On the weekend of July 4th, do I:  A) go to Dublin or B) go to the American embassy in Berlin for a 4th of July party?

Or, do I:  go to Dublin the next weekend, and miss a concert that I would love to go to (and actually know the music for)?

I hate decisions!

GO TO DUBLIN! Ireland=the best country I visited. And get Guinness. It tastes so much better there.

Two votes for Dublin: you and my host-mom. I'm going.

What should I see, besides the Guinness brewery and THE BOOK OF KELLS? (I'm a bit excited about that one...)

I have to warn you, the Guinness brewery is like 15 euro, so budget accordingly. I didn't get to go because I was in Dublin the last day of my entire 3 week trip because I had no money, but apparently it's worth it. I dunno what to tell you specifically. Just wander around. Some of the bars are really cool. And the old church district is pretty good. All of the bridges by the Liffy are interesting, as well (haha, can you tell I had no money when I was in Dublin?). Everyone says the Castle Bar district is overrated when it comes to drink prices, but you can see a lot of good live music.
