so i've decided to change careers

it only took me 3 days of class to realize that i do not want to be a classroom teacher. the though of being in charge of 20-30 young children is not only terrifying but sounds like suicide. i also realized that my expectations of myself as a teacher are not realistic and i could never attain the love and care i would want to provide my students ( Read more... )

good to see you've found out early that teaching isn't necessarily what you want to do before you got too far into it, and that you've found something that fits you better :D good luck with all that, and I hope you get into that program

haha. thanks, eddy. i hope i get in too. if i don't, i'll worry a little. the only requirements are that you have a BA and a 3.0. if you don't have a 3.0 then you have to score 1100+ on the GRE. i'm all about the least amount of money necessary spent on standardized testing.
