You know, it's pretty amazing what you can do with a leftover rotisserie chicken, some veggies, pasta and spices. (I'll bet you can figure out what we're having for dinner. :)

I stayed up this morning and got outside before 8 to weed our front flower bed. Did FOUR HOURS of that and was only about 1/3 done with the part I was working on. I came in and cleaned up a little and tried to nap for a couple of hours. I don't feel like I slept much, but I guess I did. I am TIRED. We got a lot of yardwork done yesterday. I spread a lot of pinestraw. Today I am discovering teeny tiny little splinters in my hand. Took out about 4 already. Two of those were so tiny and difficult to get out, I could not use my tweezers. I had to dig with my fingernails until I got it out. Now my hands hurt all over the place! This morning I pulled into a subdivision and saw a sign that said "Street Parking Prohibited".

Naturally, there were cars parked all over the place. :)

Speaking of cleaning... I need to clean out my garage. I have several items in there that I need to get rid of. Anybody know of anybody who could use these items?

• a crib (it was Violet's... it's one of those convertible ones... not brand new, but clean)
• a push lawn mower that needs a new carburetor
• a couple of small bikes
