I guess I should probably update, my three-year-old spontaneously potty trained herself a week ago. Not without accidents of course, but much to my relief.

Also, I am drastically cutting calories, I'm tired and sleepy and wish I could go to bed right now instead of waiting three hours. My kids are getting on each other's nerves.

I have a three-year-old who has NEVER peed in the potty. Never, not once, ever. Everything I read says her total development is being screwed up because of no potty training. Most of the time I'm content knowing Shannon and Robert are safe and well cared for, but on some occasions, such as this one, the pain of it not being done by me is gripping. I miss my little girl and boy so much, and knowing they likely don't remember me doesn't help.

We got approved for reduced price breakfasts and lunches for the first grader at school. That will help.

I wonder if codependency = insecure attachment.

I wonder if feeling superior to people = hating them.

I wonder if our economy = whiskey in a boxcar.

I wonder if liking my job = being gender-atypical.

I'm exhausted.
