Reminds me what I hear about dressing your age. If your fifty and dress like a twenty year old people notice you are dressed like a twenty year old, if you dress your age people notice you.

Personally I think that we put to much professional import on hair. As long as it meets the functional requirements of the job I think preference should prevail.
