My Uncle Mo (Maurice, Daddy's favorite brother) passed away yesterday morning. Just got the news passed on by my mom. In a way, I'm glad he's finally at peace. One of my profs (my adviser, as a matter of fact) has nominated me to participate in the TCDA Student Conductors Session at the convention in July!! (er...that's Texas Choral Director's Association) How cool is that!??!?!?

Had my annual physical today. Everything apparently looks and sounds pretty good other than slightly high bp, so she's put me on high bp meds and wants me to come back in a month to see how things look then.
