Yay, I finally had fun at a party. It was probably mostly thanks to Ian, who is the fox who invited me in the first place. As I mentioned, he e-mailed me out of the blue cause he found me on furry proximity locator.

The IFPL is a wonderful thing. Sometimes I hang out with the guy that made it. You're at about where I was about a year and a half ago. The furry community is so much broader than otherkin/ dragons/ spiritual/ therian/ whathaveyou. What's really ironic is that you will find others that fit those descriptions but don't call themselves by those names.

I see you've also found the "Wait, YOU'RE a fur too?" stuff.

Keep going and making friends! They make life so much fun. Just see in my lj how much trouble I get into with these people...

Wait, what you're a fur too stuff? Or did you mean about Ian and the girl at his school?

I did encounter that at another party I went to (the only other party I've significantly enjoyed)... A human friend of Tekaril brought us. It was thrown by non-furries, but they had this pitch black room, where you could go around and touch and talk anonymously, in a way... and somehow it came to light that the person beside me was a furry. I never found out his name, though. I think there might have actually been a rule you can't say your name in the dark room... But it was weird, anyway.
