Today I officially have 8 short stories in circulation. That is the most I've had out at any one time. I also decided to count my rejections after my pity party the other day and discovered the grand total is 73. The triple digits, they are approaching! God help us if the slugs ever form a union.

I'd read the same thing about Life on Mars. All the good shows get canned.

Good to know about Breaking Bad. Hubby likes Big Love. I've watched a few episodes, but I just can't get into it. And now that you mention it, the hippieness of Mars had me scratching my head. I thought by the mid-70's things had morphed into disco.

The show is set in 1973, which is definitely pre-Disco, by approx 5 years. Of course, living in the Midwest, Disco was probably slower to get noticed here.

I was slightly off by the year the show takes place. Sometimes details go whooshing right over my head.
