Well, after a woozy week at best, I'm feeling pretty good. Saturday I am scheduled to do my first photo shoot in ages (like seriously, first one all year) with msmaguigy, so I am psyched. So apparently the Fenix is, once again, no more. From what I've read, the owner is trying to find a new, smaller locale to re-open it asap, but the nicely decorated location on S. Washington is no more. At least I got to see one of the last shows there, FLA, and it was killer.

A weird weekend that seemed to be lazy and busy at the same time. It was nice after three days off work though and actually felt a lot more productive ( Read more... )

Superb show last night as Front Line Assembly kicked ass at the Fenix. For a band that hasn't been on the road in ages and for the first night of the tour, they sounded great, had very few problems and were full of energy. A nice mix of new and old with "Gun" the highlight of the evening - the drumming alone on this was insane ( Read more... )
