Sewing finished today
Simplicity 1069, view D, the wrap skirt. This was supposed to be a dramatic full length wrap skirt. Supposed to be. Well, it isn’t. The chatty woman cutting fabric at the store only cut 3 yards instead of the 4 I needed and I didn’t catch it before getting home, washing the fabric, and starting to lay out the pattern. Okay. Halloween prep
I'm going to be Three from Dark Matter this year (Three as a girl), so I've been working on that vest. Well, I've broken three needles, stabbed myself with pins multiple times and bled on it, and that back panel is a PITA! In other words, I'm right on schedule. Halloween prep work
The Dark Matter Three costume is coming along! I got the vest fully patterned, with all of it's about a million pieces (apparently, I wasn't serious when I swore I'd never make yards and yards of piping again after Loyalist Committee). Hmm....what to do, what to do?
Photobucket now wants money from me to keep the ability to have photos on my website. I don't want to spend the money. I've got other things that need it more than a picture hosting site. Halloween:Lady Marian BBC Robin Hood S2
I got the costume finished in time. Did have a miscalculation on the grommets on the skirt. I'm so good at math that I forgot to double the amount on each panel and only counted the number once. So I have more on some panels and progressively less as I got around to the back. But really, no one noticed but me. Isn't that the case a lot of times ( Read more... )
