Gosh, it's been several months since I updated my reading list on here!

I think it's really kind of pathetic (ok, REALLY PATHETIC) that I've only read 2 books this whole year: The Giver and the last Harry Potter. Oh, hell, there was Lord of the Flies, too, since I had to teach it.

I loathe reading now...but at the same time, I love books. I love a good book. I just don't like having to read, and now that's the only reason I'll do it.

I know what you mean. It took me awhile to warm up to books again. Several of the ones on my list are there because I'm teaching them this school year (6,23,30,32,33,35). My 2006 reading list is full of books that I read over my newborn son's head as we sat up nights nursing! lol I guess my reading a few pages during commercials and before bed has added up some. I'd really like to get back to my 4-5 books-per-month average.
