2nd update of 2010 reading list
I haven't posted about my 2010 reading since February, so it's about time to update! I've been reading pretty much non-stop this year. If all I have time to read is a page or two, then that's what I've done. The things that I've been reading have been varied. I've read fluffy fiction stuff and award winning literature.

Really, State Board of Education? Ugh. I'm a Texan through and through, but this kind of thing makes me want to move (to a state that doesn't use the same textbooks as Texas). -

I realized when I started this post that I had never finished op my 2009 reading list, and rather than make an entire post to list 2 books, I'll just throw them onto the front part of this post.

2009 reading list update
I was looking at some of the tags in my journal, and (whoa!) it's been months since I updated my reading list. So, even though I'm pretty damn close to the end-of-the-year wrap up (and hopefully my announcement of reaching book 50!), I feel like I'm past due for an update.
So here goes nothing!

2009 reading list update
I last updated my 2009 reading list in July, but I read so much in the summer that I needed to make this post before school starts. The reading slows down considerably when I have stuff to grade. I read a lot this summer, but I'd feel better about making my goal if I'd read a few more.

Quick! What should I read next?
I'm about to crawl in bed and finish reading Stiff by Mary Roach (it's non-fiction about cadavers!). I'm unsure of what to read next.
Poll I can't make up my mind.And, of course, the next book after which ever one I start after Stiff is going to be Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Come on July 15th!

2009 reading list
Yep, folks, it took me long enough! I wanted to wait until I had a few to post, because a list with only 3 books on it seems silly to post, but I've been distracted. With Marty being a cop and all, I hear things, and what I'm hearing is that there is going to be some sort (he says mandatory but I don't know about that) of evacuation called in our county because of Hurricane Gustav.
