Yep, folks, it took me long enough! I wanted to wait until I had a few to post, because a list with only 3 books on it seems silly to post, but I've been distracted. So here I am posting my list for the first time this year 5 months into the year! lol For those who don't know, I read a lot and post my reading list (books that I've finished)

I'm reading the Harry Potter books right now. We have all 7 and I've one ever read the first two. I'm almost done with book 5 (The Order of the Phoenix). I put The Tales of Beetle the Bard on my list as well.

I'd like to try and read What-the-Dickens: The Story of a Rogue Tooth Fairy by Gregory Maguire but I was only able to make it through Wicked, just barley.

I have a shelfari account but my list will probably bore you. I don't normally write reviews. I've never been one to really give good reviews. I like most anything that is even slightly entertaining and if I don't like it then I stop reading.

I read all 6 (7 wasn't out yet) of the Harry Potter books when Dominic was a baby. I'd spend those long summer nights in an easy chair nursing him with a book held over his head! The Tales of Beetle the Bard is really really helpful to look at when reading book 7. It's too bad that it wasn't out when book 7 came out. lol

I haven't read anything else by Gregory Maguire, but just by reading that one book I can pretty much tell he needs to stick with children's lit.

I started keeping up with my reading on GoodReads.com because I was realizing that I was forgetting that I had read some books! And I like to write the reviews because it's easier to link when someone asks about it sometimes, that and I like to know what impressions I had on a book when I read it. I always try to finish a book. I have a 30-page rule (don't stop if I'm less than 30 pages in) and a 3 strikes rule (I can quit reading a book twice but have to finish it the 3rd time). I'm sort of a reading weirdo, I think! lol
