So as of late, I've been driving my moms car-- only when I have to, and it's craptastic. I feel like every turn I make is going to get me killed. I've been researching and so far these are the cars I'm looking at:

- 2009 Saturn Aura

Hey, Lance works for Nissan, has for seven years. Stay away from the Rogue. Seriously. They have a lot of issues. Now, I have my Scion TC and haven't had any issues with it whatsoever. I think it's 06? I'm not sure. But yea, no issues and it's good on gas. Honda Civic, as long as you aren't some kid who wants to put ebay parts on it, good cars. Seriously. They are so reliable and everything. Thats why the sell like hotcakes and you know it's good on gas cause it's not American. All in all, I'd say go for the Honda. It's a good car. But so is my Scion. Did that help? lol

I've also looked at the Scion. I just feel like they'd be so dangerous if I were to get into another accident. :( I do have an incentive to buy American because I get a GM exec discount, but it's not necessary.

Don't buy GM! Lol Never do that to yourself! I can understand what you mean, but Scions really aren't dangerous. But they are one of the most pulled over cars in the country. Because of drunk 20 something year old chicks. That's a downside.

Mini Coopers are awesome! So are Subarus, if you can find one for cheap enough, they are amazing cars.
