My father-in-law came to the store tonight. I had a feeling something was wrong when I saw him in the parking lot. I was bringing in some carts so he told me when I got in. My father had passed away. Been working A LOT. First the manager was out because she had to be at other stores. Then she was out again due to surgery. And now she is not working at the store at all any more. Last night at work was one of the crazies I have had in some time. It was around 7:45 P.M. when a lady, who is the rudest customer we have, came up to the checkout of my cashier. I swear it is always something! The Sunday before last I was at work and around 7 PM got a very bad pain on the left side of my back, I could hardly move at all. I was just trying to find something new along the lines of violin music when I came across the talent of Lindsey Stirling. She is really good! I have listened to some of her music over Youtube. I then noticed I had listened to her before because she covers some of the music from Phantom of the Opera

Just an update on Myself and Screwy. I went back to work on Monday and worked three nights in a row. I was not happy about only being able to give all the ferrets one play time a group instead of the normale two. Yesterday was my first night back, today will be my first night back as MOD. I talked to my boss earlier and she said everything looked good from last night.

I will admit I am a little nerviouse because I will be working the whole back of the store. And I found out that we have to work on pushing stuff back because there is to be an inventory

Today might be my birthday, but it feel just like any other day. What makes it the worst is the fact that Tommy is still in Indian River rehab. I have no idea when he will be getting out. Not that any birthday has really been a big deal anyway. I just can not wait til this one is over with.

The only thing that would have made it better is if Screwy was home rather then in the rehab place. But all and all it has not been terrible. I took care to make sure the critters had a good day of opening gifts. And they had a blast. After I was all done with them my mother-in-law and I went to see Screwy ( Read more... )
