Yep. And a funeral tomorrow. That's three in the last two weeks, and just an ungodly number of dead people in 2006 overall. Hopefully, please, can more people stay alive in 2007 ?

This one's for my mother's partner's mother. Does that make her my step-grandmother ? Maybe. My family ties defy definition.

 I'm sick of wakes. I've been to too many this year.

I think I just need 2006 to be over. I'm so done.  

Went to see Eragon tonight - long story, but I had promised someone I'd go. V. disappointed. I've actually read the book and enjoyed it, not OMG BEST EVAR but a decent way to spend an afternoon (I'm a speed reader). The movie screenplay managed to leave out all my favorite bits of the book and combine the remainder in a way that made no sense. Oh ( Read more... )

feel like crap - I have the head cold from hell, and I can't call in sick to any area of my life. Bother.

::blows the dust off::  I know, I just stopped updating. Damn RL. I'm pretty sure no one's reading anyway, so I won't bother recapping. But now I'm back, I'm healthy, and I'm ready to resume my life.
