ha...um...Wallace is annoyingly missing...a LOT. He's still on the show and in the opening credits, but he hasn't been on the show at all.

Oh, and Weevil actually has an important part this season...I thought he was rather misused in season 1.

I think you should download it and watch cause I'm still not exactly sure myself what happened in that first episode...it was sort of confusing...

who was at her door?!? at the end of season one, after her mom leaves & steals the check, she opens the door and smiles and says, "i was hoping it'd be you." logan? duncan? leo? wallace? weevil? tell me logan doesn't die on the bridge! *cries*

I, like you, watched season 1 on DVD only a few weeks ago, so I've missed several of the first episodes of season 2. There's a web site that I went to that had pretty good recaps called Mars Investigations (www.marsinvestigations.net).

And Logan was the one at the door *squeal* - all beaten up and bruised from the PCH bikers and with a whopper of an unsolved mystery that's still in the middle of being worked out.

I LOVE this show so much, my little Buffy fan heart squeals for it.

so i checked out the link you gave {THANK YOU!}, and got curious who's playing kendall casablancas, so i checked imdb...

CHARISMA CARPENTER! so then i checked other guest appearances for season 2... JOSS WHEDON, KEVIN SMITH, and steve guttenberg. color me excited!

Yep. It's a total geek haven. This week's episode is supposed to have a face-off between Trina Echolls and Kendall Casablancas. That's right Charisma Carpenter and Allyson Hannigan together again and the word is that some claws do come out.

Utterly fantastic. Rob Thomas is my new favorite person.

The web site http://something-happens.com (it's a Veronica/Logan shipper site) has a bunch of video clips from this season's episode (especially ones that have Veronica and Logan, or the two of them together). One of them is the clip of Kevin Smith which HILARIOUS! You may want to check it out. It has a few clips per episode.
