Yep you read right Fuzzy Felt! Bring back memories to anyone? does me...I had a couple of sets...but all I remember I had was some people, clothing and a dog...doesn't sound like much but they are the bits that stick out in the old memory and made for hours of play. Ooh yes, I remember! I loved it. Our church had a good set that I loved playing with.

Can I hear a new business idea forming. You could make funky style felt sets etc etc. Sell them in funky, grovy kids stores.

It's not so much funky or groovy just basic. All the ones I saw were either Sesame St or Thomas or set scenes. Dinosaurs, Castles, Pirates but nothing that had just plain peole with trees and clouds and clothes. I can say though Lys has played with nothing else this morning!
I cut out clothes and drew faces on the Riot people (who come in many colours) and she is making them talk to eachother and having a bit of imaginative fun!

Oh you are good! I had good intentions to make some (as N'd new easel had a felt board) but I just ended up with the inferior fakes! LOL

Although we did get our hands on a great set....a large backing board done up like a backstage fashion parade (clothes hangers and the like), 5 people, heaps of clothes, wigs and accessories, a dressing table, a stage and a runway. N loves it and it gets played with a lot. If i ever see another one, do you want me to grab it for you? I think it was only $20 but i did find it in some out-of-the-way shop somewhere (i can't remember!).

If you ever do find another one that would be great! Lys is happy with this for now but I know she'll want something a little better than the people I have....I drew faces on them and they look a bit "interesting" now. Everything is very basic so she can put the clothes and hair etc n them mix it up a bit but as she loves to perform something like that would be good!
